Desert Oasis indeed.

This place is a trip, and never have I had money fly out of my hands as here. But its fun and exhilarating, and an important step to take in order to open my shop. Luckily I am here with two amazing women who are helping me make some of the decisions, and crunch some numbers. Yesterday was the wholesaler meeting, and today is the independent designers show. Its all so massive!

I realized quickly that I had to use technology to help me remember.

MAGIC Tradeshow.

 SO... this weekend I head to Las Vegas to attend one of the biggest trade shows in North America. It happens twice a year and pretty much all of the clothes that are sold on this continent are filtered through this event. Its as big as 4 or 5 foot ball fields ( so the rumor goes) and will happen over 4 days. Its also compartmentalized- so you can visit areas designated for Street Wear, Shoes, Haute Couture, Pool( that's the independent designer one which I am heading to first)...etc....

Here I come!

This is an art installation at "project" , apparently the expensive stuff gets sold here.

I am expecting to get extremely visually entertained. I wonder if they mind if you pat the shoes nicely?

Anyways thats the plan. I am going with two close girlfriends, and so far we have planned what parties and shows we will attend. But this is where I will start to select stuff for Clothing Humans. Maybe I will blog some choices while I am there and get some input... I am very excited. Stay tuned!
